SEN Support Worker
We are seeking a caring and qualified Level 3 Practitioner to join our team as an SEN Support Worker. You'll give dedicated support to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping every child to learn, play and thrive in a nurturing environment, in line with the EYFS framework.

- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Work with the nursery SENCo, key persons and parents/carers to deliver each child's individual support plan
- Plan and adapt activities so every child can take part and make progress
- Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment for all children
- Observe, assess and record children's progress towards their targets
- Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, colleagues and visiting professionals
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety policies are followed at all times
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant Level 3 childcare qualification in Early Years or equivalent - essential
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Experience working in a nursery or early years setting - essential
- Experience supporting children with SEND - desirable
- Safeguarding Level 1 and 2, Paediatric First Aid and Level 2 Food Safety - desirable (core training is provided)

All applicants are required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) application, the cost of which is funded by Tiny Toez. All applicants are also required to subscribe to the DBS Update Service and maintain the annual fee of £16.00.
