World Book Day is such a beloved celebration at Tiny Toez @ Tamworth, and this year was no exception! The nursery buzzed with creativity, storytelling, and adventure.
The children brought in their favourite books from home, sharing them with one another throughout the day. At Tiny Toez, we cherish every chance to share stories, as it plays a vital role in supporting their early reading skills. 📚
To mark the occasion, the children whipped up Gruffalo crumble inspired by the much-loved tale “The Gruffalo”. They enthusiastically chopped peaches for the Gruffalo’s orange eyes and blueberries for the purple prickles, even helping to measure out the topping ingredients before tasting their delicious creation afterwards! 🧑🏻🍳
The staff and children really brought their enthusiasm and creativity, making this day truly special! 😍
