VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations

The children at Tiny Toez @ East Valley had a wonderful day celebrating VE Day.

To mark 80 years since this special occasion the children wore red, white, and blue while enjoying a range of exciting, themed VE Day activities 🌟

In the baby room they had a sensory tray filled with Union Jack foam, allowing them to explore different textures as they squished and squeezed it through their fingers.

Additionally, a touchy-feely tray showcased a variety of red, white, and blue textures, complete with Union Jack flags for the children to wave

During creative time, the children enjoyed making their own collage flags using glue and vibrant Union Jack materials.

In the toddler room they made their very own bunting to hang up in the room using red, white and blue paint……….Plus they blended red and blue paint into their playdough for extra fun!

In the preschool room they engaged in various activities using red, white, and blue and creatively explored and reconstructed ‘ruins’ from that time.

They also had a thoughtful discussion about the significance of VE Day.

To finish off the day the children enjoy some classic music that reflect the VE Day spirit! 🎶🎶

A wonderful way to remember and reflect on such an important day in history ❤️🤍💙
